Data Protection Information
The protection of your data is important to us. When using and processing personal data (“pbD”), we comply with the applicable data protection law. With this declaration we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data processed by us as well as about the rights to which you as a person concerned are entitled.
Certain terms used in this notice have the following meanings:
DSGVO is a regulation of the European Parliament and of the European Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, which is applicable from 25.05.2018.
Personal data (“pbD”) refers to information that can be attributed to an identified or directly or indirectly identifiable natural person. The pbDs include, inter alia, name, address (including billing and delivery address), telephone number, e-mail address, account information, date of birth, data issued by public authorities (e.g. driving licence number, identity card number, passport number).
The person concerned is the natural person whose personal data are processed.
Data processing is any handling of pbD, starting with its collection, through arranging, changing, evaluating, querying, transmitting and storing up to its deletion.
Personal data processed by us
We collect, process and use your personal data only with your consent or order for the purposes agreed with you, or if there is another legal basis as defined in the DSGVO; this in any case in compliance with the applicable data protection law.
We collect only those pbD which are necessary for the execution and handling of our services (contract fulfilment) and/or which you have voluntarily made available to us, e.g. in the context of contacting us via our contact form. Essentially, this involves the following data:
– First name, last name
– Address (street, postcode, town)
– Email Address
– Telephone (landline, mobile)
Rights of data subjects
As a person concerned, you have the right to information about your stored pbD, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing as well as the right to correction, data transmission, objection, restriction of processing as well as blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.
If there are any changes to your pbD, please inform us accordingly. You have the right to revoke your consent to use your pbD at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer can be sent to the address given in point 12 of this declaration. If you wish to request access to your pbD, you must prove your identity to us. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your pbD by us violates the applicable data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the possibility of complaining to the responsible supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority is responsible for this.
The protection of your pbD takes place through appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorised, illegal or accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Irrespective of our efforts to maintain a reasonably high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons. We therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacking of email accounts or telephone, interception of faxes, etc.).
Use of data
We will not process the pbDs made available to us for any purpose other than (i) by your order or contract, (ii) by your consent, (iii) to fulfil our legal obligations, (iv) by our legitimate interests or (v) by any other justification in accordance with the DSGVO.
Transfer of data to third parties
In order to fulfil your order it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. IT service providers, payment service providers, … and other service providers that we use to perform our activities and to whom we make data available). A forwarding of your data takes place exclusively on the basis of the valid data protection law, in particular for the fulfilment of our order or on the basis of your previous consent.
Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your pbD are located outside your country or process your pbD there. The level of data protection in countries outside the EU and the EEA may not correspond to that in Austria. However, we only transfer pbD to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection.
Disclosure of data breaches
We make every effort to ensure that data breakdowns are detected at an early stage and, if necessary, reported immediately to you or the responsible supervisory authority, taking into account the respective data categories affected.
Storage of data
We shall not store pbD for longer than is necessary or permissible to fulfil our contractual and/or legal obligations (in particular legal storage periods), to assert or avert liability claims or on the basis of any other legal justification.
